Cerbera drivetrain & miscellaneous alternative parts
This page collects community-sourced alternative part numbers for TVR Cerbera drivetrain components and a handful of miscellaneous items (radiator mounts, air vents, sump plug washer). These are reported fitments from owners — always cross-check dimensions and threads against the part on your own car before purchasing, and consult a professional for any safety-critical work.
Clutch hydraulics
Section titled “Clutch hydraulics”The Cerbera clutch master cylinder is a generic unit shared with several vehicles. A Land Rover Series Three master cylinder is reported to fit, but requires an adapter and the original pushrod to be transferred across.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Donor cylinder | Land Rover Series Three clutch master |
| Outlet thread | 3/8”–24 UNF (male) |
| Required adapter | 3/8” UNF male to 7/16” UNF female brass brake/clutch pipe adapter |
| Pushrod | Re-use original pushrod from old cylinder |
| OE replacement (approx.) | £30 |
Owners have reported poor quality from some pattern suppliers — sticking to a reputable Land Rover specialist or the OE part tends to give better results. Always bleed and pressure-test thoroughly after fitting.

Cautions
Section titled “Cautions”- Clutch and driveshaft work is safety-critical. Torque all fasteners to the manufacturer’s figures (see the Cerbera torque settings reference) and replace any locking hardware (nyloc nuts, lockwashers, split pins) with new items.
- CV joints marked for one application can have subtle spline or length differences — verify by direct comparison before committing.
- O-ring and gaiter sizes given here are nominal; measure your old part before ordering a batch.
