Cerbera drivetrain & miscellaneous alternative parts
This page collects donor-vehicle and aftermarket part numbers for TVR Cerbera drivetrain components and a handful of useful miscellaneous fittings (sump plug washer, throttle linkage, radiator mounts). It’s a community-compiled cross-reference — always confirm fitment against your own car before ordering, and use manufacturer torque and assembly specs for any safety-critical work (driveshafts, clutch hydraulics).
Clutch hydraulics
Section titled “Clutch hydraulics”The Cerbera clutch master cylinder is a generic unit shared with several vehicles; a Land Rover Series Three master cylinder is reported to fit, but you’ll need a small adapter to suit the Cerbera’s pipework and you’ll have to transfer the push rod from the original cylinder.

|---|---|
| Donor master cylinder | Land Rover Series Three |
| Cylinder outlet thread | 3/8”-24 UNF |
| Pipe adapter required | 3/8” UNF male to 7/16” UNF female (brass brake/clutch adapter) |

Cautions
Section titled “Cautions”- The clutch master cylinder adapter swap involves a pressurised hydraulic line — bleed thoroughly and check for leaks before driving.
- CV joints and stub axles are safety-critical. Use new circlips and nuts where specified, and torque hub and driveshaft nuts to the manufacturer’s figures (see the Cerbera torque settings page).
- The Mini exhaust-mount radiator bobbins are a popular fix but verify clearance on your car — engine movement against a hard-mounted radiator will crack the end tanks.
