This page lists known alternative and donor-vehicle part numbers for the engine and cooling systems on the TVR Cerbera (both AJP V8 4.2/4.5 and Speed Six). Where TVR-branded service parts are scarce or expensive, many components were sourced from mainstream cars and the equivalent part can usually be bought far more cheaply.
Always cross-check the physical part against your car before fitting — TVR specifications changed through production, and a number of these substitutions need minor modification (e.g. swapping a pulley, trimming a mounting lug).

- AJP 4.2 and 4.5 engines use different coil packs, injectors and alternator belts — confirm which engine you have before ordering.
- Where a donor part is cheaper than the TVR-branded equivalent, the saving is often considerable, but you may need to swap a pulley, trim a mounting boss or use different fasteners. Allow time to test-fit.
- Always verify torque settings and assembly details against the workshop manual when refitting safety-critical components such as the fuel filter, oil cooler hoses and alternator.
